L.A. Times B2B Publishing is pleased to announce their second annual Banking and Finance: Trends, Updates & Visionaries magazine. During the recent challenging and unpredictable environment, individuals and businesses alike were forced to pivot, get creative and reinvent their business plans and financial protocols in a myriad of ways. More than ever, it has been essential to remain flexible and – whenever possible – ahead of the game. For his efforts and success, Russell Evans was named as a 2022 visionary by the LA Times.
Russell Evans began his career in 1992 at Merrill Lynch where he met his future business partners Greg Satz, Catherine Gerst, and Eric Taslitz. In 2009, after the acquisition from Bank of America, Russell and the team moved to UBS Financial Services. After eight great years and more industry experience, the team made the decision to become independent and in 2017 Russell became Managing Principal of Avitas Wealth Management. As the Managing Principal, he operates as chief investment officer as well as oversees the firm’s overall business management.
In 2020, Avitas Wealth Management launched a Private Equity Fund that invests in both public and late-stage private growth companies. The Avitas Capital Ascent Fund differentiates the offering and capability of Avitas Wealth Management from other RIAs.
